Can I travel to Cuba from the US?

Yes. U.S. citizens and residents can visit Cuba, but several restrictions must be followed to ensure you are authorized to travel to Cuba.

Must have a valid passport with six months validity at entry, and a tourist visa is also required.

What other documents do I need to travel to Cuba?

Can you use US dollars in Cuba?

U.S. credit and debit cards do not work in Cuba. You should take U.S. dollars or Euros to Cuba and exchange them for Cuban Pesos (CUP) at authorized banks, CADECA offices, airports, or hotels.
