New & Renewal Passport
To renew or apply for a new Passport, you must present the expired Passport photocopy (6 years) and the Passport itself. Two Passport-size photos, front-view are needed.
If the Passport was lost or stolen you should provide us with a police report for lost property along with a photocopy of the lost Passport. If you don’t have a photocopy, a Birth Certificate must be presented or other certificate stating the Cuban citizenship.

Passport Extension
A valid passport must be presented. One photo, front view, ears showing. Passport extensions are made once every two years and, to have the right for a second extension. Cuban Passports are valid for a total of six years and may be extended twice every two years.
Passport extensions are mandatory once every two years and you have the right to a second extension, for a total validity period of 4 years before renewal is needed.

Information
Passport Authorization
Passport Authorizations permit limitless entries into Cuba. This allow Cuban emigrants to stay in Cuba for 30 days, and the stay can be extended for a maximum of 30 additional days. This authorization procedure is made only once. When it is granted, it has indefinite validity.
Cuban Immigration Services will process the authorization request. They may either approve or refuse its granting, without providing further information.
Entry Permit
Applications for Entry Permits are only valid for Cuban citizens holding PSI (Permission for Indefinite Departure) as long as they have left Cuba before 12/31/1970. The Entry Permit granted by Cuban Immigration is valid for one entry and one departure from Cuba.
It is essential that you present proof of residency documents issued by your country of residence, along with the entry permit.
Permits
Tourist Visa
The Tourist Visa or Tourist Card is only for visiting Cuba purposes. It is valid for one single entrance into Cuban territory for up to 30 days trip. The card can be extended for an additional 30 day period with the Cuban immigration authority.
Keep in mind children must also carry their own Tourist Card even if they are traveling to Cuba under their parents’ passport(s).
Family Visa
The Family Visa is intended for the spouses, children and relatives of Cuban citizens holding any other nationality. You need a family visa if you wish to stay at the home of your Cuban relatives instead of a hotel, guest house, or hostel.
Passport must be presented together with any valid document that validates your relationship with your Cuban family.
